These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the BadgeTrainer mobile application ("App") provided by BadgeTrainer ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial study and training purposes. The App is an educational tool and does not constitute legal advice, official training, or certification.
BadgeTrainer Pro is an auto-renewing monthly subscription priced at $9.99 per month, billed through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Your subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your Apple ID account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your Apple ID account settings. Refunds are governed by Apple's App Store refund policy.
Some features require an account (progress sync, exam history, performance analytics, and subscription management). You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
You agree not to misuse the App, reverse engineer it, distribute its content, or use it for any unlawful purpose. You agree to comply with all applicable laws and agency policies when applying any information learned through the App.
All content, questions, scenarios, and materials within the App are owned by BadgeTrainer and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, redistribute, or republish App content without written permission.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. The disclaimers below (Training Aid, No Legal Advice, Statutes & Law Changes, and others) are incorporated into these Terms by reference.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BadgeTrainer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App.
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without cause. Upon termination, all licenses granted to you cease immediately.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Texas.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes are effective when posted within the App or on our website with an updated date. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

BadgeTrainer does not replace formal instruction, agency training, academy coursework, legal advice, or official guidance from the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE). Users are responsible for knowing and complying with current laws, agency policies, and training requirements.

BadgeTrainer is not responsible for actions taken by users based on application content.
Service availability and data accuracy are not guaranteed.
BadgeTrainer may experience interruptions, updates, or changes. Progress tracking and saved data are provided on an "as-is" basis.
BadgeTrainer operates on third-party platforms.
BadgeTrainer is not responsible for outages, errors, or limitations caused by third-party services, including hosting, payment processors, or app distribution platforms.
